Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V. The Vom Siebenteufelsturm kennel in Haltern am See is dedicated to the Hovawart. The decision in favor of this breed arose from the desire for an athletic, family-oriented and attentive dog with a long coat. Impressions of a litter nearby as well as of training on site reinforced the choice. With the arrival of the first female dog in 2008, the plan matured to raise Hovawart puppies themselves. In preparation for breeding, the breeding team attended seminars, breed surveys and shows. The female dog proved affectionate, confident in temperament and child-friendly. Vom Siebenteufelsturm is affiliated with the Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V. and focuses its breeding on healthy, even-tempered and well-socialized family dogs. The puppies initially grow up in the house and later get to know a large garden as a space for play and exercise. Before they leave, they are familiarized with everyday stimuli such as children's sounds, household appliances and impressions from the wider surroundings. For the dogs, the kennel wishes for a loving home with close family integration and continues to accompany their development even after the move.
