Deutscher Teckelklub e.V. vom Kreuzlinger Forst is a small, family-oriented breeding program for Wirehaired Standard Dachshunds in Germering. The focus is on dogs intended for hunting use. The breeding program is certified by the Deutscher Teckelklub e.V. and does not house the dogs in kennels. The puppies are born inside the house and grow up closely integrated into family life. From an early age, they encounter the typical sounds and situations of everyday life. This home-based upbringing is intended to support comprehensive socialization. In addition, the young Dachshunds receive early imprinting with regard to their later use in hunting. When placing puppies, vom Kreuzlinger Forst prefers homes with hunters. Future owners should appropriately encourage the dogs’ abilities, keep them meaningfully occupied, and at the same time integrate them permanently into the family. According to the status published in April 2024, no puppies are currently available; no further litter is planned for the near future either.
