Health and comprehensive socialisation are the focus. Six Shelties and a Golden Retriever live there as part of the family. The puppies become familiar with children of different ages, unfamiliar dogs, car journeys and typical everyday noises. In suitable weather, they explore a protected garden and gain their first experiences with a harness and lead. They leave at eight to nine weeks. By then, the puppies have been dewormed several times, microchipped and vaccinated for the first time. They receive an EU pet passport and a pedigree from the Shetland Sheepdog Interessengemeinschaft e.V. Food, a comfort cloth, harness and lead make the move easier. A responsible home with exercise and species-appropriate activities is sought.
