Deutscher Retriever Club e.V. The vom Hillershörner Feld kennel is based in Hesel in the heart of East Frisia and is dedicated to Golden Retrievers. Since the late 1980s, dogs of this breed have been handled there. While animals from show lines were initially the focus, the emphasis today is on working lines for hunting use. The breeding follows the strict requirements of the Deutscher Retriever Clubs (DRC). Golden Retrievers from working lines are considered intelligent and enduring; they prove themselves as hunting companions and in dummy sports. The aim is healthy, strong-minded dogs with a joy of working, a pronounced “will to please” and passionate hunting instincts. Puppies are therefore only placed in an environment that does justice to their abilities. Intended are hunting work or ambitious training and activity in dog sports.
