At six weeks of age, the animals were in good condition and had already learned to eat independently and use the litter box. The kittens were described as lively, playful and especially affectionate. Visits were planned for their future families so that they could get to know the kittens. Moving to their new homes was planned from 17 October 2011. At the time of adoption, the cats were to be vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. It was also planned that each animal would move into its new home with a pedigree and an EU pet passport.
