Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V. The Hovawart breeding establishment vom Dinkelhook has been active in Dülmen in the Münsterland since 2019. It follows the guidelines of the Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V. as well as those of the VDH/FCI. The breeding establishment’s long-standing connection with the breed dates back to the arrival of the first Hovawart female in 2003. The focus is on healthy, even-tempered and friendly Hovawarts that are suitable as family dogs. Suitable pairings are selected for breeding with consideration for character and genetic prerequisites. The breeding establishment looks back on several litters; a D-litter was born in April 2026. Another litter is planned for early summer 2027. The puppies grow up in the living area with direct access to the garden and thus experience everyday life from an early age. From the third or fourth week, they are gently familiarised with children, adolescents and older people. Visits from future puppy families are also planned during this stage of development in order to support good preparation for later family life.
