Club für Britische Hütehunde e.V. Vom Chiemseestern is a small, lovingly run hobby kennel for Longhaired Collies in Traunreut, in southeastern Bavaria not far from Lake Chiemsee. The kennel is affiliated with the Club für Britische Hütehunde e.V. and follows its guidelines within the VDH/FCI framework. The puppies grow up right in the midst of family life: Initially, they spend their first time in the whelping box; afterwards, they have access to an exercise area in the living space with access to the garden. This allows them to become familiar early on with typical sounds of everyday life as well as interacting with people, children and other dogs, and they are carefully socialized. When they are handed over, the young dogs are microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed at two-week intervals. They receive an EU pet passport as well as a pedigree from the Club für Britische Hütehunde e.V. The litter is also presented to a breed warden twice for assessment. The Longhaired Collies are considered child-friendly and, with suitable support, may also be suitable for beginners.
