DEKZV e.V. n° 78200 The Räthzel cattery in Wesendorf has been lovingly dedicated to the British Shorthair cat for ten years. As a small hobby cattery in the Lüneburg Heath, the beautiful cats and careful, family-oriented care are at the heart of everything. Only one or two litters are deliberately planned per year so that each kitten receives sufficient attention. The cats grow up with close human contact and are regarded as family members. Accordingly, the Räthzel cattery seeks a permanently loving home for the young British Shorthairs. The cattery is registered as a breeder with FiFe through the patronage association HEC e.V. The breeding cats are regularly examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated several times, and additionally checked by ultrasound for HCM and PKD. In this way, the cattery combines manageable rearing with preventive healthcare.
