Take the Points in Grenå breeds Old Danish Pointing Dog with a focus on hunting, family life, and early environmental training.

Take the Points breeds Old Danish Pointing Dogs in Grenå and has worked with the breed since 1978. The breeding programme includes both males and females with results from field trials, including the 2018 World Championship, participation in the Danish Championship, versatile hunting tests, advanced retrieving tests and blood-tracking tests. The breeder has also completed DKK’s breeder education programme. The dogs are used both for practical hunting and as part of family life. This combination of working abilities and everyday life shapes the breeding programme’s approach to the Old Danish Pointing Dog and its focus on the breed’s versatile qualities. The puppies are closely followed throughout their first eight weeks. They are gradually accustomed to ordinary sounds in the home and garden, as well as to game, gunshots and water. Take the Points places emphasis on getting to know each individual puppy well in order to find a suitable home and offers guidance to puppy buyers as needed.
