St. Bernhards-Klub e.V. The Saint Bernard kennel von den großen Strolchen is based in Kollweiler in the rural Palatinate. For more than thirty years, the breeding program has been dedicated to the Saint Bernard and has been involved with the St. Bernhards-Klub e.V. Usually, there are one to two litters annually; a litter was born in October 2025. The dogs grow up with particular attention paid to good socialization. Several show successes underscore the work of the breeding program. The current stock comprises three breeding bitches, whose offspring have already made an impression. The two stud dogs have also won titles, and their offspring are showing promise. Only HD-free dogs are used for breeding. The kennel combines many years of experience with a careful selection of its Saint Bernards and follows the development of its own lines across generations. The focus is on socially compatible dogs and on passing on the breed’s proven characteristics.
