Silverfern Kees is a kennel for German Spitz in Münchehofe, around 60 kilometers south of Berlin. The dogs live in the house and are firmly integrated into everyday life. On the rural property with a large garden, they share their surroundings with cats and horses; they also accompany the family on trips within Germany and abroad. The kennel places importance on the dogs’ health care. Health criteria are taken into particularly careful consideration when selecting suitable stud dogs. Silverfern Kees is affiliated with the Verein für Deutsche Spitze e.V. Gegr. 1899 and is dedicated to the Wolfspitz as a variety of the German Spitz. The Wolfspitz is described as a friendly, affectionate and family-oriented dog. Its lush coat is considered easy to care for and not prone to getting dirty. Because of its attachment to its home and its barely developed hunting instinct, it can live well with other animals. As an intelligent, eager-to-learn dog, it is also suitable for training, companionship, therapy work and moderate dog sports.
