Initially thought to be a Bobtail mix, he was identified by the veterinarian as a Bearded Collie – a breed that was still little known at the time. Studying its history and characteristics deepened the enthusiasm sustainably and made the Bearded Collie the conscious choice for the future. The puppies from SHADOW of the tree are placed exclusively with people who can offer a new family member a permanent home. The careful selection of future families is particularly important. The dogs placed so far continue to live with their first families and are lovingly cared for there. The breeding is affiliated with the Club für Britische Hütehunde e.V.
