# RASG - REUNION DES AMATEURS DU SETTER GORDON Gordon Setter breeder in Torcy-en-Valois · France

HISTORY: The Réunion des Amateurs du Setter Gordon club was founded in 1905 and enabled the Gordon Setter, originating from Scotland, to achieve great success in France.

HISTORY: The Réunion des Amateurs du Setter Gordon club was founded in 1905 and enabled the Gordon Setter, originating from Scotland, to achieve great success in France. ROLE: The RASG is a non-profit association that is a member of the Société Centrale Canine (SCC) and recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture. This committee is made up of volunteers passionate about the Gordon Setter and eager to ensure that the breed standard is respected. They take every possible measure to promote the breed, encourage breeding and develop its use. To this end, they regularly organize shows, confirmation sessions and Natural Aptitude Tests, as well as breed specialties and National Breeding Shows. These activities highlight the dogs that best represent the breed standard. The Committee is involved in researching genetic defects in its dogs and encourages breeders to produce quality dogs. The breeder members of the RASG are pleased to provide advice and information about their sires and litters.
