Club für Australian Shepherd Deutschland e.V. The kennel Rafter Creek’s ... is located in the Black Forest not far from Donaueschingen and is dedicated to Australian Shepherds. Four dogs live in the household; additional animals are housed with friends so that each one receives sufficient time, exercise and attention. Sporting activities and mental stimulation shape the way they are kept. The breeding program includes dogs with achievements at international, European and national shows, including champion titles, BOB awards and club titles. The Award of Merit Versatility has also been achieved several times for accomplishments in sport and showing. Litters are planned only occasionally. Particular emphasis is placed on careful imprinting and good preparation of the puppies for their future everyday lives. In addition to the required examinations, the breeding dogs have genetic tests for HSF4, DM, HUU, CEA and PRA as well as behavioral tests. Even after the puppies have been placed, the kennel remains there for the puppy families.
