The activity began in 1991 with Labrador Retrievers and in 1994 with Mastiffs. It is recognized by ENCI and FCI and by the Province as a professional kennel; in addition to breeding, it offers training and rehabilitation. The Labradors are black, chocolate, and yellow; the Mastiffs brindle, fawn, and apricot. The breeding dogs are selected by studying each individual from a genetic and physical standpoint, with X-rays for dysplasia and eye examinations; temperament plays an important role. The adults live in the house with the family; the puppies are born in dedicated whelping rooms and then move to a nursery where they socialize with visitors. The puppies leave between 70 and 90 days with their first vaccinations and microchip, a health guarantee, and guidance on care and training.
