The hobby kennel of Albula's Lady, formerly von Albula, has been dedicated to the Shetland Sheepdog in Weilerswist since 1987 and is affiliated with the VDH/FCI. The focus is on family-based rearing, with the dogs closely integrated into the kennel's everyday life. The puppies spend their first time in the house and garden and grow up in contact with the existing pack. Occasionally, litters in the coat colours Tricolour, Blue Merle, Black and White or Sable and White are available. Before leaving, the puppies are dewormed several times, vaccinated, microchipped and examined for hereditary eye diseases. The kennel also takes the MDR1 status into account when pairing: At least one parent is MDR1 (+/+), in order to avoid risks from medication intolerances.
