DKK opdrætteruddannelse Miku's is a small home-based schnauzer kennel in Græsted. The kennel has completed DKK's breeder education and works responsibly with breeding, prioritising a few, carefully planned litters. The aim is breed-typical family dogs that are mentally and physically healthy and thrive in everyday life. Experience with black schnauzers began in 1995, and the first litter arrived in 2000. Since then, eight litters have been born, planned with the same care as if the kennel itself were to keep a puppy. The schnauzer's distinctive temperament, versatility, humour and close bond with the family are among the breed's valued qualities. The puppies are born in calm, homely surroundings and grow up as part of the family. Their upbringing includes socialisation and various impressions from everyday life, so they are well prepared to move to new homes. In October 2017, the kennel had nine puppies.
