Internationaler Club für Cavalier King Charles Spaniel e.V. Melrose Star is a small VDH hobby kennel for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in the rural town of Niederkassel between Cologne and Bonn. The dogs live on a former farm that offers them plenty of space and are firmly integrated into family life in the house. The kennel plans only two, at most three litters per year, so that each one can be carefully supervised. The puppies grow up in the house, have access to a spacious outdoor area and experience contact with adult dogs. They are introduced to typical everyday noises, car rides and new people. Before leaving, the puppies are dewormed several times, examined by a veterinarian, microchipped and given their basic immunizations; a breed warden inspects the litter. They receive an EU pet passport as well as VDH pedigrees. For the first period, each puppy comes with food, information, a collar, leash, toy and blanket. The kennel remains available for questions afterwards.
