The breed shapes the daily life of the kennel and accompanies them both in the Ruhr area and in the Vogelsberg. A life without these spirited dogs is inconceivable for the breeder. The kennel is located in Gemünden in the Vogelsberg, in the district of Ehringshausen. Shanewood Cottage serves as a second home there and offers the Irish Terriers a particularly suitable environment. The dogs are always present during the regular stays between Central Hesse and the Ruhr area. McGowan provides insights into the keeping and breeding of their Irish Terriers from the Vogelsberg. The kennel is affiliated with the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. and presents its dogs and breeding work in detail.
