FCI affiliated22 years of experience Maxcellent is an FCI-registered breeder of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, run by Helma and Paul. The breeder has been operating since 2004 in the Netherlands and is additionally run on a fenced property on the edge of a forest in Hungary. The breeding dogs come from the USA, Canada, Europe and Russia, bringing together bloodlines from several countries. The aim is the best possible health through a large gene pool with good pedigrees; the animals undergo health examinations. The puppies are born in the living room and experience the sounds and routines of everyday life from the very beginning. Between the 3rd and 16th day of life, an early stimulation programme (Bio Sensor) follows; thereafter, new stimuli are gradually introduced until the 15th week, such as outdoor sounds, children, other dogs, a leash, public places, grooming and swimming.
