Club für Australian Shepherd Deutschland e.V. Lost River in Wiesbaden has been breeding dogs since 2007. Initially, Parson Russell Terriers were the focus; later, the emphasis shifted to Miniature American Shepherds, also known as “Mini Aussies”. The kennel belongs to the Club für Australian Shepherd Deutschland e. V.; currently, no puppies are being placed. The health and conformation of the breeding dogs are given just as much importance as training and early imprinting. The offspring are described as versatile: as well-balanced family and successful sporting dogs, as well as therapy or assistance dogs, for example for children with visual or hearing impairments and people with diabetes. Two Bengal tomcats and two rabbits in the household also contribute to socialization. Several times a year, gatherings are held for the offspring and their owners. The pack is considered calm, sociable, eager to work, and well-adjusted to everyday life. The kennel has also already been featured in television reports on VOX and RTL.
