DKK opdrætteruddannelse Landseergården's in Jelling breeds Landseer with a focus on health, stable temperament and breed-typical conformation. The breeding is based on many years of experience with both male and female dogs, and the kennel name was registered in 2004. DKK's breeder education has been completed. The dogs live as the family's pets throughout their lives, and a limited number of dogs are kept at a time. Among other things, they participate in obedience training, water rescue work and shows. Only one breeding female is used at a time, which allows close attention to each individual dog and each litter. The puppies grow up in the home with access to the garden and take part in everyday activities. They encounter people, other dogs, various sounds, surfaces and experiences, and their early development is supported with the Bio Sensor programme. The puppies move to their new homes no earlier than at 9-10 weeks of age with a Basis+-pedigree and familiarity with both dry food and raw meat.
