The dogs live in the Leine Valley in Lower Saxony near Nordstemmen, between Hannover and Hildesheim, as part of everyday family life. The breeding program places value on versatile companions that prove themselves just as much in family life as in sport and work. In addition to the adult dogs, older animals also remain permanently part of the pack and continue to be involved in their accustomed tasks.
