The kennel “de Ducomè” planned a litter of Rhodesian Ridgebacks for spring 2013, with the birth expected at the end of February or the beginning of March. The mating was intended to pass on the Liver gene and possibly produce Livernose puppies. The bitch was described as friendly, alert, well socialized, and thoroughly examined. The puppies were to grow up in the house and thus become familiar with the typical sounds of everyday life at an early age. In good weather, an outdoor sand area, play and learning opportunities, varied stimuli, and rest areas for the dogs were planned. Before being handed over, vaccinations, deworming, identification with a chip, veterinary examinations, and club documents were planned. The breeding establishment paid attention to species-appropriate nutrition and wanted to select future owners carefully so that the dogs would be well cared for permanently.
