Internationaler Klub für Tibetische Hunderassen e.V. The Katosha kennel in Werdohl has been dedicated to the Tibetan Terrier since 1981. The dogs live as family pets in the house, are integrated into everyday life and also accompany the family on trips. Through this way of life, they are familiar with various situations of daily life together. After experience with males as stud dogs, the kennel is planning its third litter. Katosha is a member of the International Club for Tibetan Dog Breeds e.V. and is therefore also affiliated with the Association for German Dogs and the FCI. The breeding follows the club’s guidelines and is supervised by its breeding wardens. The dogs used have successfully passed the KTR breeding suitability test. Regular veterinary examinations are part of the breeding planning. Healthy, sound-tempered and HD-free dogs are used, which have been genetically tested for CCL, PLL, PL, PRA/LL, PRArcd4 and PRA3. Through careful selection of breeding partners, Katosha aims to keep the risk of hereditary diseases as low as possible.
