For the Tibetan Spaniel, emphasis is also placed on an appropriate muzzle length, as a muzzle that is too short can affect breathing. The breed standard is used as a guideline for, among other things, size, colours, coat and temperament, as well as details such as the shape of the eyes and the position of the tail. In the Tibetan Spaniel, particular care is taken to preserve the breed’s characteristic paw and ear furnishings.
