Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. Jolly Dogs forever has been breeding Parson Russell Terriers in Nettetal since 2000. Since 2019, the breeding program has belonged to the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. (VDH/FCI). The dogs live as family pets in the house; keeping them in kennels is rejected. The puppies also grow up in close family contact and gain a wide range of impressions early on. Health, temperament and proven lines are the focus of the breeding program. The maternal line brings together American, English and German lines, while stud dogs are carefully selected. Breeding dogs are examined, among other things, for patellar luxation, lens luxation, ataxia and hereditary eye diseases; their character is also assessed before being used for breeding. The puppies are handed over microchipped, dewormed several times and vaccinated. Beforehand, they are assessed twice by the breeding supervisor. Jolly Dogs forever places importance on carefully selecting future families and wishes for early contact with the puppies. Exercise, daily walks and activities in the countryside and by the water are part of the dogs’ everyday lives.
