At around three to four weeks of age, the young dogs move into a dog house in the garden. There, a designated area is available for them to explore, play and romp. Different objects and play opportunities provide them with a variety of impressions and encourage their early acclimatization to new stimuli. Their early socialization also includes outings in the surrounding area, both on foot and by car. During these outings, the puppies encounter different people. Children are also part of the family environment, allowing the Hovawarte vom Laiberg to gain early experience with the lively routines of everyday life.
