DKK opdrætteruddannelse House of Stormlys is a small home-based breeding program with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Coton de Tuléar. The dogs live closely alongside the breeder’s everyday life and naturally form part of the home. Normally, only one to two litters are planned per year, so there can be peace and close attention around each puppy. The puppies grow up with a focus on security, well-being and early socialisation. Before they leave, they are introduced to various impressions and the sounds of everyday life, and they begin house-training during their first eight weeks. The parent dogs are DNA-tested, eye-examined, patella-examined and approved for breeding. As Coton de Tuléar requires regular coat care, the breeder provides guidance and holds coat-care courses before the young dog reaches the coat change at around nine months of age. With a DKK breeder education, emphasis is also placed on continued support and advice throughout the dog’s life, whenever needed.
