DKK opdrætteruddannelse HappyCity is a loving and serious home-based Shih Tzu breeder in Havndal. The puppies grow up as part of the pack and are exposed from the beginning to the ordinary sounds, smells and daily handling in the home. During the first period, they are closely monitored, and when they get older, they are given the opportunity to move around the house together with the other dogs. Health has an important place in the breeding work, and the breeding dogs are examined before they are used for breeding. Two females have been approved for breeding by DKK. HappyCity has completed DKK's breeder education and continuously follows new knowledge about the breed in order to develop the breeding programme. Socialisation is given high priority before the puppies move at 10 weeks of age. Among other things, they are accustomed to harnesses, car rides, fireworks, puppy training, different environments, unfamiliar dogs and visits to nursing homes and kindergartens. The puppies are also introduced early to coat care, bathing, blow-drying, handling of their paws and nail clipping. HappyCity continues to offer advice and guidance and holds annual puppy reunions.
