Golden Retriever Club e.V. Golden Starshine in Chemnitz has been breeding Golden Retrievers in the Golden Retriever Club e. V. since 2005. The focus is on healthy, even-tempered dogs that fit well into today’s coexistence of people and dogs. When planning litters, health data on hips, elbows and eyes from the Dogbase breeder database are taken into account; the breeding programme works with international lines. Golden Starshine also places importance on examinations of the hips and elbows of its own offspring in their second year of life. From birth, the puppies grow up in the living area of the breeding facility and experience everyday life there with visitors and typical household noises. From the age of five weeks, they also have access to the garden in the residential area. The puppies are handed over at eight weeks. By then, they have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. In addition, they are inspected by the breeding supervisor of the Golden Retriever Club e. V. and handed over with a pedigree from the club and an EU pet passport.
