When they leave, an EU pet passport and the relevant papers are included. The breeding animals are examined for hip dysplasia and patellar luxation. In addition, attention is paid to freedom from hereditary eye diseases. In this way, the breeding programme combines family-oriented rearing of Shetland Sheepdogs with health examinations of the parent animals.
