Puppies are born in the house and grow up there in the company of adult dogs. The breeding program points out that, despite careful selection, the subsequent health and character development cannot be fully guaranteed. After their litters, females are allowed to enjoy their retirement early; some older dogs find a suitable new home as a second dog.
