Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) e.V. “from charming shadow” is a breeder of Black and Tan Coonhounds in Schwülper. The breeder Nicole has kept dogs since 1986: first Siberian Huskies, with which she competed in sled dog races until 2001, and from 2005 Weimaraners with hunting trials. In 2013, the first Coonhound female, Cayenne, arrived, described as gentle and affectionate, with a pleasant temperament and quick comprehension. A documentary about the breed fascinated her; she wants to share her enthusiasm for this rare dog with others. The breeding dogs include Cayenne, Suri, Samu, Pepper, Heaven, Obelix, Shadow and Eyvi; pedigrees and titles are listed on the individual pages. An A litter and a B litter are documented for Cayenne.
