DKK opdrætteruddannelse Fjeldsøes has around 30 years of experience with dog breeding and has completed DKK's breeder training. The breeding programme works, among other things, with Drever and also mentions wire-haired Dachshunds, wire-haired German Hunting Terriers and F.T. Labradors as hunting dog breeds. The breeding work places emphasis on the dogs' hunting instincts, a stable temperament, a healthy foundation and a breed-typical appearance. The dogs take part in hunting while also living as family dogs in the home in everyday life. The kennel is used when no one is at home. The puppies are born indoors. When they are approximately five to six weeks old, they are moved to an outdoor puppy enclosure, if the weather permits.
