The small hobby cattery fishingtigers is based in Stade on the outskirts of the Hamburg metropolitan region and is dedicated to the Maine Coon cat. When selecting its breeding lines, the cattery pays attention to health examinations for HCM, HD and PKD. Equally important to it are well-balanced, socialized cats with a natural, not excessively large appearance. The kittens move to their new homes no earlier than after completing their 16th week of life. At this time, they are vaccinated against cat flu and feline panleukopenia, microchipped and dewormed. They are also registered with Tasso and receive a pedigree from TICACATS. Maine Coon cats placed as pets have already been neutered. This spares future owners both the risk associated with anesthesia and an additional veterinary appointment for this procedure. The focus is on responsibly preparing the kittens for their new homes.
