Elysa\`s ... of Wickenberry has been dedicated to breeding Gordon Setters since 1989 and has lived with Setters for more than four decades. The kennel was a member of the VDH breed club for Pointers and Setters e.V. for 25 years and describes the breed as a strong, robust and gentle hunting dog. Only even-tempered, HD-free parent dogs with at least one passed hunting test are considered for breeding. The kennel follows the requirements for Gordon Setters with VDH and JGHV papers. Particular attention is paid to a balanced temperament and the dogs’ close bond with their families. The kennel also supports puppy buyers after handover with information on rearing, education and training. An extensive folder of documents as well as its own information material are provided when the puppy is collected. In addition, the kennel organizes working meetings, dummy training, tracking work and agility, as well as joint seasonal gatherings.
