The dog breeding kennel Die Strohhutpiraten is based in Seyring, about eight kilometres north of Vienna. Since 2017, the kennel has been dedicated to the Flat-Coated Retriever and aligns its breeding work with the strict requirements of the FCI, ÖKV and ÖRC. The three Flat-Coated Retrievers live together with the family in a detached house with a garden. This means that the dogs are closely integrated into everyday home life and are part of a family environment that includes both living spaces and outdoor areas. The puppies also grow up directly in the kennel’s living environment. A large area in the garden is available to them for exercise, play and their first explorations. In addition, they have their own retreat in the living room, offering peace and closeness to family life. In this way, Die Strohhutpiraten combines space for little adventures outdoors with a protected area inside the house.
