Lagotto Romagnolo Wasserhunde Deutschland e.V. Della Toscana Franca breeds Lagotto Romagnolo in Unterpleichfeld near Würzburg in Lower Franconia. The kennel name refers to “Franconian Tuscany”, as the region is also called. Several Lagotti live as family dogs in the household and enrich everyday life at the kennel. The enthusiasm for dogs began more than twenty years ago with a Poodle-Schnauzer mix from an animal shelter. Later, the search for a non-shedding second dog led to the Lagotto Romagnolo. After a show in 2016, this developed into breeding. Della Toscana Franca is a member of Lagotto Romagnolo Wasserhunde Deutschland e.V., an affiliated club of the VDH. Every litter is accompanied with great care; the joy of future puppy owners is particularly important to the kennel. Truffle hunting also has a firm place: seminars for beginners and advanced participants are offered.
