The Da Nogara kennel is located in Carpignano Sesia and was founded in 1975 by Giancarlo, originally from Nogara, in the province of Verona. Since 1995, his son Davide has been working with him, adding dog training to the kennel's activities. They breed French scenthound breeds: Petit Bleu de Gascogne, Ariégeois, Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen and Basset Fauve de Bretagne. These dogs are selected for hunting hare, rabbit and wild boar. The kennel won the ENCI Breeding Trophy for scenthound breeds in 2018, 2019 and 2020 and has collected numerous Italian, European and world champion titles. Giancarlo is an ENCI judge and national president of the Club Italiano Bleu de Gascogne.
