DKK opdrætteruddannelse Crack Of Dawn is a home-based breeding kennel of golden retrievers in Glumsø. The kennel has worked with the breed since 2011, when the first litter was born, and today has three dogs. With the DKK breeder education as part of its background, emphasis is placed on responsible breeding and on puppies that get a good start in a home environment. The goal is to breed healthy puppies with the golden retriever’s well-known, gentle, curious and friendly temperament. Each litter is assessed with the wish that the individual puppy should have the qualities the kennel itself would seek in a dog. Temperament and well-being are thus central elements in the work with the breed. The puppies grow up in the living room as part of everyday life. They are gradually accustomed to ordinary sounds in the home and to sound files, and they receive attention from both the kennel and guests. When their age is appropriate, they are also introduced to various experiences and forms of stimulation.
