Cotonfleur is a family breeding program of Coton de Tuléar in Uldum. The breeding program has five adult dogs and places emphasis on the dogs thriving in a home environment. Socialization and good adaptation to everyday life are among the central considerations in working with the breed. Health is given high priority at Cotonfleur. The adult dogs are clear in seven DNA tests and are examined for patella and eyes before mating. The breeding program also follows UC Davis’ recommendations regarding the back when planning litters. Behind the breeding program are DKK breeder training as well as professional training in KynoTrainer, canine massage, craniosacral therapy and KynoOsteo. Cotonfleur thus combines a focus on the breed’s health with knowledge of the dog’s movement, well-being and early development.
