DKK opdrætteruddannelse Coton de Mille is a small home-based breeding kennel of Coton de Tuléar in Kjellerup. The kennel has completed the DKK breeder education and places emphasis on breeding healthy, well-functioning dogs with the breed’s gentle, happy and lively temperament. Normally, only one to two litters are planned per year. The breeding dogs are examined and tested for relevant hereditary disorders, including patella, eyes and DNA-testable diseases. The puppies are raised according to DKK’s and KSS’ breeding recommendations. From birth, they receive close human contact, and early socialisation is prioritised to create confident and harmonious puppies. The puppies meet children, adults, other dogs and various environments, visit new places, among other things, and become accustomed to car rides, a lead and simple activity equipment. They are also introduced early to bathing and coat care on a grooming table. Buyers receive a mandatory course in coat care, so that the long-haired breed’s needs can be followed up.
