# CLUB FRANÇAIS DU BEAGLE, BEAGLE HARRIER ET HARRIER dogs breeder in Gas · France

HISTORY: The French Beagle Club was founded in 1914.

HISTORY: The Club Français du Beagle was founded in 1914. It deals with three breeds: the \[Beagle](http://www.eleveurs-pedigree.com/fr/chiens/58323/france/f/breed:30/1), the \[Beagle-Harrier](http://www.eleveurs-pedigree.com/fr/chiens/58323/france/f/breed:31/1) and the Harrier. These are hunting dogs of French origin. It is the only club for this breed to be affiliated with the Société Centrale Canine (SCC), which itself is approved by the Ministry of Agriculture. The club is now chaired by Jacques MENUT. ROLE: This breed club’s role is to control registrations with the L.O.F as well as confirmation examinations. The Club du Beagle also administers the breeding establishments and ensures compliance with the standards. Each year, a national Breeding show is organised for this breed. They also organise several regional breed and hunting shows. True enthusiasts, the members of the Breed Club publish a magazine every six months. Finally, they hold a General Meeting annually.
