Canaan Gen is a Canaan Dog breeding program in the Karlsruhe area of southwestern Germany. Breeding is carried out as a conservation breeding program with three main focuses: DNA and health results, genetic behavior certificates, and aptitude tests for the puppies. The breeding program is a cooperating research breeding program of Friedrich Schiller University Jena and works with the German Assistance Dog Center. It has been recognized as a breeding establishment of the International Dog Association Germany (IHV/ACW) since December 2021 and is a member of the Canaan Dog Club of America and the Canaan Dog Club UK. – Moshae (Ouzi de Solemel): HD A1/A1, ED 0/0, genetic tests through Laboklin – Abbie (Ardara me Canaangrad): HD A1/A1, ED 0/0, genetic tests through Laboklin The puppies receive Laboklin certificates for DNA parentage, a health profile, and behavioral and aptitude assessments. The breeding program has a permit from the veterinary authority under § 11 TSchG.
