HISTORY: CABRI was created in 1997. The Club des Amoureux du British has evolved considerably and now represents several breeds. Since 2002 it has become Le Club du British Shorthair et Longhair, Scottish Fold et Highland Fold et Races associées. ROLE: The Club is recognized by the Livre Officiel des Origines Félines (LOOF) and is intended to promote, defend and raise awareness of the breeds. It wishes to bring together all lovers of these breeds, whether they are breeders, owners, simple enthusiasts or associations. To ensure promotion, the club regularly participates in exhibitions, notably the « Spéciales-Britishs », which are organized every year. CABRI is present in the specialized press and on the internet to communicate about its breeders and their kittens. Its quality breeders all follow a code of good conduct. The association is always pleased to welcome individuals as well as breeders by telephone and email to provide advice regarding the breeding, education and well-being of cats.
