Black Wookie's is a hobby kennel for Black Russian Terriers in Selbach and is affiliated with the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. The breeding program combines health, a breed-typical appearance and a balanced temperament. The breeding dogs are examined for hips, elbows, hyperuricosuria (HUU) and JLPP and thus meet more than the requirements of the affiliated breed association. When selecting suitable stud dogs, the kennel primarily considers meaningful health results as well as the characteristics of the breed standard. The puppies receive intensive care and are socialized from an early age. Contact with children and adults as well as trips by car, train and bus expose them to various environmental stimuli. After the litter inspection, they move to their new owners at around eight and a half weeks. Black Wookie's remains available to them afterwards and passes on knowledge of extensive coat care for everyday life and shows.
