Labrador Club Deutschland e.V. Annegreat’s is a small, family-run Labrador Retriever kennel in Lahr in the central Black Forest. The dogs’ home is at the foot of the Schutterlindenberg, whose vineyards, meadows and forests shape the surrounding area. The dogs are part of the household’s everyday life and accompany the family on hikes, in the motorhome and at family celebrations, among other occasions. The breeding programme is kept to a manageable scale: at most one litter is planned within a period of one to two years. Two bitches have breeding approval from the LCD/VDH/FCI; one of them has already had two litters. A daughter from the first litter will remain in the breeding programme and is intended to continue it. The puppies are raised in the household and become familiar there with various impressions of everyday life. For placement, the kennel is looking for families who can devote sufficient time to their young Labrador and provide training appropriate for a retriever.
