Health, character and breed type determine each parent combination. The parent dogs are tested for hip and elbow dysplasia, their eyes are examined through ECVO and they are screened with a broad genetic panel, including for hereditary retinal atrophy and nephropathy. Before breeding, an exterior judge assesses them according to the breed standard; in appearance, the dogs mainly align with show lines. A female generally has one or two litters; only in the event of an exceptionally good course may a third litter be considered. The puppies leave with a pedigree, deworming treatments, vaccinations and a European pet passport. Also included are copies of the health examinations, a filled puppy package and a sales agreement.
