Deutscher Retriever Club e.V. The kennel a Dream of Black Pearls is dedicated to the Flat-Coated Retriever in the north of Braunschweig. The enthusiasm for this water-loving retriever breed arose from a targeted search for the right family dog and developed into a lasting bond with the Flats. The dogs live in the family environment of a detached house with a large garden and swimming pond. Joint outings to the bathing spots along the Schunter are part of everyday life and offer the Flat-Coated Retrievers opportunities to play, romp and practise in the water. The kennel’s first litter was born in April 2020 and comprised ten puppies. Suitable families were selected for the young dogs, in which they can develop well. The breeding programme is affiliated with the Deutscher Retriever Club e.V. and focuses on the Flat-Coated Retriever.
